Logo GRC

Main Goal is to create new technologies for the production of  “tailor made” multifunctional nanostructured materials and formulations for applications in the field of  “life sciences”: cosmetics, pharmacy, food industry, agriculture, insulation materials and textiles.

Special attention is given to the functionalization of the existing materials and further development of the encapsulation techniques to get the “tailor made” formulations with the desired release of active compounds for each specific target. To achieve this goal, both partner universities work together with industrial partners from both countries (in the first stage Evonik Degussa GmbH).

Partners are:

  • Hamburg University of Technology (TUHH), Institute for Thermal Separation Processes
  • D. Mendeleev University of Chemical Technology of RUSSIA (MUCTR), Computer Aided Process Engineering
  • TuTech Innovation GmbH, Hamburg
  • and as Associated Member: Evonik Degussa GmbH, Essen
